Description

This handrail is made with stainless steel and aluminum materials, and completely powder coated. All color options are powder coat colors applied to the handrail and hardware. Designed for Indoor / Outdoor use in wet environments such as exterior applications and bathroom environments. All the hardware, brackets, and screws are stainless steel and aluminum construction for high strength and durability in the elements. The brackets are installed using stainless steel self tapping screws into the base of the aluminum handrail. As such, they can be moved along the base of the rail to insure that they are able to mount directly into wall studs. The brackets are designed to be mounted directly into wall studs. Handrail diameter is 1.5 inch round aluminum tube to allow for comfortable daily use. The distance projection from the face of the handrail to the wall when installed is approximately 3.75 inches. High strength construction meets load requirements of 200lbs or more. Check your local zoning for any additional requirements. The handrail is designed to have a minimum of 1.5 inch clearance from the wall to the back of the handrail to meet standard clearance code requirements (see images for technical dimensional drawing).
